What services does Near & Dear not provide?
Near & Dear is not a home care agency and does not provide personal care, companionship services, transportation, housekeeping, medication administration, or emergency medical services. Our role is to provide RN visits, professional observation, family updates, and recommendations that help families stay informed and identify concerns early.
Can services be adjusted as needs change?
Yes. Families can increase, decrease, or discontinue services as circumstances change. Our goal is to provide the right level of support for your family’s current needs.
What if my loved one is hospitalized?
Our Safe Return service is designed to support families during the transition home. This includes RN visits, assistance with discharge plans and follow-up care, family updates, and identification of potential concerns during recovery.
How will I receive updates?
Following each visit, families receive a summary of observations, updates, and recommendations. Communication is tailored to your preferences and designed to help you stay informed, even from a distance.
Does insurance cover Near & Dear services?
No. Near & Dear is a private-pay service and is not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance plans.
